Picture made for the release of Ubuntu 10.10. I was more or less inspired by this illustration [link] while I searched something to do about Ubuntu.

LOL, AWESOME!!

I think you should've kept that apple and leopard away from this since we're talking about ubuntu (FOSS) here. Though I love how you got a while piece of art out of that famous bug!

I think it would be at least partially fitting because OSX is based on open technologies - for example, Darwin =)

I'm not really choose to kept because OSX is based on open source tech. Rather because it's an alternative OS to Windows, which has "a majority market share".

Yeah of course! It was to answer to the user who said that OSX was not "open" - probably I have chosen the wrong comment to reply XD

It's interesting (although possibly not to yourself, sorry) but Apple is a hardware company and they don't really sell software, or license software. They don't compete against Microsoft, they compete against OEMs like Dell, HP, Acer etc.

Public perception of market economics is weird.

Maybe i've got a weird perception of economics market, but i think they're compete, maybe not in a direct way, Microsoft too. Apple are not only an hardware compagny, they product hardware and software. I think they compete OEMs and Microsoft both.
But Apple's case is more "complicated" than others, they're on market with differents products.
